Brett began his career in the mining industry working for Komatsu. Starting as an apprentice, it provided experience first-hand on the importance of being team orientated, which is portrayed in many aspects throughout the business. Brett has been with Gateway from day one, making him familiar with all aspects of our customers’ needs.

Jon started in the mining industry at Komatsu as a technician in a field service role, gaining him extensive knowledge not only on Komatsu equipment but on all major OEM brands. This vital experience in both mobile and fixed plant maintenance means our customers are talking to someone who knows and understands their needs.

Allister Routley
Sales Manager
Allister began his time in the mining industry at the Caterpillar dealer as an apprentice before working as diesel mechanic and then onto sales. Experience gained from working for a Caterpillar dealer on a variety of machines and components has given him the product knowledge to help support your fleet of mining and heavy construction equipment.

Chrome Shop Manager
Dave is a mechanical engineer from the UK specialising in machine tools for the oil and gas industry. Moving to Australia in 2011 Dave has worked extensively in the hydraulic cylinder and chroming industry, gaining a vast knowledge along the way, Dave manages all aspects of the grinding and chroming side of the business.

Hydraulics Workshop Manager
Ben completed his apprenticeship with a company specialising in the repairs of hydraulic cylinders and their components from a wide variety of sources including earthmoving machinery, cranes and offshore equipment. This experience allows him to understand the unique requirements of customers and cater to their needs.
